General Information

This app provides a digital dice functionality for local game sessions. Clients connect to a host device via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). During a game session, the player name entered by the user, technical Bluetooth identifiers required for the connection, and the dice result are transmitted to connected devices so that participants can take part in the session.

On certain older Android versions, location permissions may be technically required by the operating system in order to scan for or connect to BLE devices. RandomFlux itself does not access, store, or use location information for tracking or localization purposes.

RandomFlux is distributed via Google Play. The controller named above is solely responsible for the processing of personal data within RandomFlux. Any processing carried out by Google in connection with the Play Store is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

Data We Process

RandomFlux does not create user accounts and does not permanently store personal data.

Purpose of Processing

RandomFlux does not use personal data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking purposes.

Legal Basis

Processing is carried out only to the extent necessary to provide the app’s functionality. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests), namely the technical provision and operation of the app’s local multiplayer functionality.

Data Sharing

The player name, technical Bluetooth identifiers, and dice results are transmitted via BLE exclusively to devices participating in the same local game session.

No personal data is shared with external servers, analytics providers, advertising networks, or other third parties.

Storage Duration

RandomFlux does not permanently store personal data. Data is processed only temporarily during the active game session and is deleted when the session ends or RandomFlux is closed.

Permissions

Data Subject Rights

To exercise these rights, users may contact the controller named above.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

Users have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates applicable data protection law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if the app’s functionality, legal requirements, or technical processing procedures change. The current version published for RandomFlux shall apply.
